The BDA membership has approved five new directors for the BDA Board: Tom Dannenberg, Hutchinson, Shockey, Erley & Co.; Angelique David, Ziegler; Keith Kolb, Robert W. Baird; John Rolander, Fifth Third Securities; and Don Winton, Crews & Associates, Inc.
In addition, at the BDA’s fourth quarter Board meeting on February 5, the Board approved FY 2015 Board leadership: Steve Genyk, MD Head of Fixed Income Capital Markets, Janney Montgomery Scott as the new Board Chair; John Fechter, SVP, Director of Taxable Fixed Income Trading, Wells Fargo Advisors as the new Board Vice Chair; and Cindy Higgins, SVP & MD, Capital Markets, Comerica Securities as the new Board Treasurer.
“The newly elected directors and Board leadership will strengthen the BDA with their innovative vision, direct engagement, and guidance,” said Mike Nicholas, BDA CEO. “The BDA continues to promote the interests of middle-market and regional securities firms in the face of increasing federal regulation and shifting market dynamics.”
