Today, the BDA wrote SEC Acting Chair Allison Lee to congratulate her on the appointment to Acting Chair this week and thank her for her work on the TCE which was scaled back considerably following BDA meetings at the SEC including Acting Chair Lee.
Lee will remain in control of the SEC until Chair Nominee Gary Gensler is confirmed by the Senate. At this time, no confirmation hearing has been scheduled, and many expect it could be a lengthy process to confirm Mr. Gensler.
