BDA has submitted a letter of support for HR 1802, the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Investment Act of 2011, sponsored by Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) and a bi-partisan group of 50 cosponsors. HR 1802 would remove the annual state volume cap for private activity bonds used construct and improve water and wastewater infrastructure. Rep. Pascrell is a consistent supporter of municipal bond measures in the House, including legislation to expand use of bank-qualified bonds. A copy of BDA’s letter of support can be accessed here.
