The Bond Dealers of America wrapped up its Third Annual National Fixed Income Conference this year in Denver, Colorado on October 6 & 7. At this widely-attended conference, attendees heard from featured speakers, attended a Municipal Market Compliance Seminar co-hosted by the MSRB and networked with other industry professionals.
Prior to the Conference kick-off, BDA hosted a Roundtable focused on issues facing Fixed Income Legal & Compliance, which was attended by over 15 dealers and moderated by Jonathan Stein of Raymond James and Brian Pearce of Wells Fargo Advisors. Dealer Breakout sessions consisted of discussions focused on regulatory, legislative and market practice challenges and opportunities confronting middle market securities dealers and banks.
The Conference also included a discussion on Federal Tax Reform and Dodd-Frank provisions impacting the middle market dealers and an overview of BDA grassroots activities on Capitol Hill.
