The BDA has partnered with a coalition of issuer groups to form a PAB Working Groupas tax-reform heats up and Congress continues to search for pay-fors. Partners include groups representing higher education, not-for-profit health care, and airports among other interested parties. The group is focused on information sharing and advocacy coordination working together with the broader Public Finance Network.
The BDA continues to lead industry advocacy in protection of the tax-exemption for private activity bonds and municipal bonds and is planning a series of fly-ins during the remainder of the year focused on these key issues.
