The bill would mirror bipartisan legislation introduced in the Senate by Senators Bingaman (D-NM) and Crapo (R-ID) and would make permanent the bank-qualified rules that were in effect in 2009 and 2010, increasing the annual amount from $10 million to $30 million, indexing that amount and allowing pooled financing. Rep Reed made the announcement at the High School in Salamanca, NY. A news report and video of his announcement are available here.
